Every year, we feature an artist on the first page of our website, as a gallery. This time, Dutch artist Mily Bogaarts.

In July 2023, Creative Project Base's Kuranari and Dutch Artist artist/researcher Arne Hendriks held a wedding ceremony of miso, mixing homemade misos made in Japan & Netherlands.

In this ceremony, Mily was the one creating the Dutch side's ceramics. (You can see it in this link)

Later, by chance or fate, Mily came to Japan for a year on a working holiday, we introduced Tsuji-san of 224porcelain, a rising star kiln in Hizen Yoshida ware in Saga Prefecture. She stayed for 2 months in his artist-in-residence, creating numerous collaborative works.

The sketch on the toppage is one of them. 

She made joint with which you can stack favorite bowls together for picnics and outdoor activities.

Another work is the one , grass of Ureshino is painted. But when you can see well, behind it , the dinasaur bones will appear.
